Throwback to the book launch of @vleertjemuis 🧡! My debut children’s book. I doubt there’s a photo where I exude more pride... not even the one with my swimming certificate.
As a young girl, I grappled with low self-esteem and frequent insecurities. Back then, I couldn’t fathom achieving what I have today. The journey and accomplishments have been beyond my wildest dreams.
If I could impart wisdom to my younger self, I’d reassure her that feeling like an outsider will transform into a source of strength. The tranquility I found while drawing as a child now permeates my daily life.✨

I wish every child the courage to pursue their dreams, never allowing doubt to deter them.
Just as my mom always said, “Je wilt het, je kan het, je doet het!”💪🏼
