How do you handle frustration when you’re too small to hang up the streamers? And what can help when you’re so excited you can’t stop bouncing around?
The title, Villa Voelspriet, is inspired by the Dutch word voelspriet, meaning “feelers.” It reflects the idea that children can learn to use their own emotional “feelers” to understand and navigate their feelings. This book builds on a matching card set I previously illustrated, designed to support children’s emotional development.
