During Dutch Design week, the Philips Museum and I join forces to enchant children aged 6 to 10 with a step into the fascinating world of MRI scans!✨

Lying still in an MRI scanner can be challenging. We want children to experience that they have the power to meet this challenge. Through stimulating questions, we inspire them to think about what makes them feel calm. They get to work drawing their ideal environment. And then comes the magic moment: their drawings are projected in space.✏️

In this spectacular way, we involve children in this ingenious invention and show that technology can evoke wonder. It offers children the chance to shape their own future. By creating their own ideal environment, they discover that they can influence their world.
 Get ready for an unforgettable adventure where children learn not only about MRI scans, but also about themselves and the endless possibilities that technology offers.

I believe that children are the future generations who will inherit the world. 🧡 By guiding them towards personal growth, I aim to help them become happy and caring adults who can have a positive influence on the world around them. This is where my magical translation art comes into play.
Illustrations have the power to stimulate children’s imagination and invite them to interact and explore. With a touch of humor, vibrant colors, and a deep understanding of the world of children, I strive to build a bridge between the grown-up world and the wondrous imagination of children.

Creating this illustration was like diving headfirst into a crayon-fueled adventure! 🤎But what really tickled my creative fancy was bringing those emotions to life. Just look at Rainworm, grinning ear to ear as he escapes the blustery winds in his snug earthy hideaway. And as for our dear Vleertje, oh, the dilemmas that flutter through his mind!
